Wike Talk Say All Him Pikin Dem Support Peter Obi for 2023 Election

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, don reveal say all him children support Peter Obi, wey bin be Labour Party presidential candidate, for Nigeria 2023 presidential election.

Wike make this statement during interview with TVC News, where e explain say the main reason wey make him children support Obi na because of the controversy wey surround the All Progressives Congress (APC) Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket for that election.

For 2023, Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima contest under APC presidential ticket, and both of dem na Muslims. The issue cause plenty debate and concern, especially among some Christian groups and voters wey oppose the idea of presidential and vice-presidential candidates coming from the same religion.

According to Wike, this controversy influence many people to support Peter Obi at the time, including all him children. He say the political situation don change since then and claim say some people wey support Obi for 2023 don change their mind about am.

Wike explain say him children now dey tell am say dem no really know Peter Obi well during the 2023 election period and say dem get different view of am now.

He also claim say the concerns wey people get about the Muslim-Muslim ticket don reduce under President Bola Tinubu’s administration. According to Wike, Tinubu government don deal with the issue wey make the same-faith ticket become major campaign matter during the 2023 election.

Wike further talk about the 2027 presidential election. He said Peter Obi, whom he identified as the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), cannot win the 2027 presidential election.

However, that statement about the 2027 election na Wike own political position and no be confirmed outcome of the election. The 2027 election and the political competition around am remain subject to future developments.
