Obi say e no get anything to hide and e ready make Nigerians scrutinise everything about im, including im academic records and any file wey fit dey for foreign countries.
Obi make the statement during an interview on 90 Minutes Africa, where dem ask am about claims by Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to Mexico, Reno Omokri, say presidential candidates for Nigeria get FBI files. Obi say e no know anything about any FBI file concerning am and insist say e never have any dealings with the FBI.
The former Anambra State governor say anybody wey dey seek public office suppose dey ready for full public scrutiny because leadership require accountability and transparency. According to am, people wey want to lead Nigerians should be prepared to open their records and allow the public examine their background.
Obi specifically appealed to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) to release every document wey dey inside im academic file. E want the university to make public details about how e gain admission, together with all im academic results from first year until graduation.

Obi maintain say transparency should no be something wey only one politician dey practise. He challenge other presidential candidates to also open their records for public examination and be ready to explain any mistakes or controversies from their past.
